Tiwa Savage nearly slaps Seyi Shay in heated confrontation. People think it's Wizkid's fault

Two of the finest female Nigerian musicians, Tiwa Savage and Seyi Shay, got into a messy fight on Tuesday, and, you guessed right, people think it's Wizkid's fault. Celebrity blogger, Tunde Ednut, posted a video showing both artists in a war of words a few minutes after the incident. Apparently, Seyi Shay and Victoria Kimani dissed Tiwa in their 2019 cover of Kizz Daniel's song "Fvck You." The duo was at the same salon making their hair when Seyi decided to greet Tiwa; however, the latter wasn't having any of that 'fake love.'

"Don’t say hi to me ever. Let sleeping dogs lie... Let God take my son if I ever said anything bad about you," Tiwa could be heard saying in the video. Within a few minutes, they nearly came to blows with each other before being separated by the salon staff and customers.

Here's the fun part: Wizkid is trending too.

Even though neither Tiwa nor Seyi Shay mentioned Wizkid's name, the Grammy award-winning superstar, too, has been trending on Twitter.  It may not be unrelated to the fact that Wizkid has collaborated with the pair in the past, but many Nigerian tweeps think he is the only one that can 'settle the fight.'

The beef between Tiwa Savage and Seyi Shay surprised many of their fans, in part, due to Seyi claiming, in a 2016 interview with Channels TV, that she does not know Tiwa Savage personally. In fact, it got worse when Victoria Kimani dropped her cover of Kizz Daniel's song dissing Tiwa and Ycee. In her lyrics, Kimani said, "Grandma African bad gyal, turning 45 and still claiming bad girl."
