HotNaija previously reported that the commissioner of Lagos State Police and his men were already on the ground before 9:00 am and that no single agitator could be found around the vicinity. Not anymore, the secessionists have kept to their word and turned up as proposed.

Traditionalists stormed the scene singing and chanting their course peacefully. However, things began to take a bloody look as the police fired bullets and threw teargas. Unfortunately, a 14-year-old girl was hit by a stray bullet.

A graphic video sighted by HotNaija showed a crowd of people gathered around the lifeless body. While there is no information about the exact cop who shot the bullet that took the life of the innocent girl, the police force has denied any involvement in her death, claiming "no shots were fired.

Another video showed the police arresting one of the protesters. Despite these, the rally seems to be gaining momentum little by little. Also, there have been no reports about the whereabouts of Sunday Igboho as the separatist leader refused to show up at the rally.
