BBNaija: Tega breaks down in tears, begs husband for forgiveness

One of the latest housemates recently evicted from Big Brother Naija, Tega Dominic, broke down in tears on Tuesday, asking her husband to forgive her for the atrocities she committed against him in the house. In a 5-minute video posted on her Instagram page, the 29-year-old said she takes "full responsibility for my actions, and I sincerely apologise to everyone that I disappointed and to those who could not stand my actions while on the show". Tega and Boma had been the subject of mockery on social media in the days leading up to their eviction, mainly due to the former's romantical relationship with the latter, which did not go well with fans of the reality TV show. She also appreciated her husband for "standing by me and giving me all the support I needed to pursue my career."

Before her public apology, the ex-housemate said in an interview with Beat 99.9 FM that she and Boma realised they "did too much" after coming out of the house. Her statement came on the heels of her husband's interview with Tunde Ednut, where he said he felt broken by her actions.
