Buhari, Dangote, Zakzaky Make World's Top 500 Most Influential Muslims List

President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria – Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR), was recently listed on The Muslim 500 website as among the top world Muslims with the Influence and power to fight in the world in 2021.

According to the personal assistant to the Nigerian President on Digital/News Media, he announced this news on the 23rd of October (2021) via his official Facebook page.

In his words:

"President Muhammadu Buhari is the 16th most influential Muslim in the world."

"In Nigeria, Sultan Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III, HRH Aminu Ado Bayero, Sheikh Ibrahim Saleh, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, Sheikh Yakubu Musa Katsina, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, Alhaji Aliko Dangote among others made the list."

"In the football world, Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane, Paul Pogba, Zinedine Zidane are also in the list of Most Influential Muslims in the World."

However, this list was chosen based on people with cultural, ideological, financial, and political power to make significant contributions to the Muslim world. The people selected on the list are not endorsed in any way (e.g. views and opinions). They're only measured by their level of Influence.

The list includes; Kings, Presidents, Leaders, Scholars, Royals, Preachers, Emirs, Sheikhs, Prime Ministers, Footballers, etc., from around the world.
