Death has dealt sadly with the DMW Boss over the past few years. He's lost close friends and family to the cold hands of death.
On 30th June 2021, death visited and took away a close aide of his: Obama DMW.
Obama DMW is one of Davido's aides that help him out in moving the music group forward. However, he now counts as a minus.
His death came as a big surprise, sweeping Nigerian cyberspace for days. No one would have expected that the DMW Boss would soon lose someone close to him. Because of this, there've been numerous rumours surrounding the death. This bed Peruzzi, a member of the group and close friend of Obama DMW, to reveal all that happened.
According to him, Obama DMW lost his life to heart failure after complaining a few hours earlier about breathing difficulty. As seen in a series of screenshots uploaded online, he was an alcohol and cigarette addict. This allegedly contributed to his early grave.
Davido showed himself on the internet for the first time and with swollen eyes -- as a result of profound mourning -- since the death of his friend. His label signee, Mayorkun, uploaded the pictures of the "Fall" singer online. Indeed, death has not dealt nicely with the Atlanta-born artist. The following weeks and months would undoubtedly be sad ones for the DMW crew. It's currently unsure when things would get back to normal in the group as death leaves a scar that hurts more than a wound. The pain lies in the shared memories.
