Kingdom has won the Nigerian Idol Season 6 after several weeks of battling between many contests.
Kingdom is expected to go home with nothing less than music video shoots of three songs, N30m prize cash, and a brand new SUV. In addition, the winner is expected to bag a recording deal of a six-track EP album.
The fates of the finalists -- Kingdom and Francis -- were decided through a polling system, with 16 million votes received. When announced as the winner, the excited star thanked God and all those who supported him throughout the journey.
In addition to the listed prizes, he's expected to get a one-year supply of BIGI drinks, a BIGI branded refrigerator, a trip to exotic beaches in Seychelles, a trip to Dubai, TECNO gadgets, and a fully installed DStv Explora with a 12 months Premium subscription.
The runner-up, Francis, read a thought-out emotional message. He confessed that he's been trying to get into the show for many years but could only make a breakthrough this year. He added that he would have read the message irrespective of the outcome.
The runner-up is also expected to win some of the prizes as promised by the sponsors and organizers.
The show, which has been running for several weeks, was closed with hit songs. Notable among them was Master KG's Jerusalema.
