Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo backs Oyedepo over pastors' sack

The Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, agrees with Bishop David Oyedepo in his sacking of 40 pastors.

A former pastor of the church, Peter Godwin, alleged in a widely-circulated video that he was sacked after failing to generate enough money to cater for his needs and accommodation.

He revealed that not less than 40 pastors have received the sack letter that he received. He was immediately asked to vacate his office.

"When I got there, I saw other pastors too, over 40 of them, so I joined them. A few minutes later, we were issued a letter. I opened the content of the letter to see what was there, and I saw that it was a sack letter," he said.

Oyedepo and his church came under fire as the news went viral. But Pastor Fatoyinbo believes that the Bishop is correct in sacking the 40 pastors.

Using a parable in the Bible, he stressed that the Christian Church was all about productivity. He advocated that those who admire unproductivity should be done away with.
