Sergio Ramos set to join PSG, snubs giant EPL clubs

According to Marca and transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, former Real Madrid superstar Sergio Ramos has reportedly reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain F.C. to spend the next two years at the Ligue 1 side.

The news came just four days after it was reported that Manchester City offered the defender a two-year deal with an option to join City’s sister MLS club in 2023.

Chelsea John Terry has been rumoured to be exchanging messages with him, but the defender seems to have set his eyes on something else. Right in Paris.

The 35-year-old spent his last 16 years at Real Madrid, where he netted 72 goals and made 469 appearances for the club. However, his form in his last was poor, missing nothing less than 35 games.

The LaLiga side announced a farewell to the legend after both parties disagreed on a two-year deal.

PSG is ready to welcome a man of his standard to join the team. It has been reported that Hakimi Achraf and Gianluigi Donnaruma would be joining the team also. Although his agent and brother, Rene Ramos, has been in Paris to put things in place, Ramos is yet to disclose the details. According to Football Espana, both parties are yet to reach a total agreement.

Nevertheless, he would be heading to Paris to complete his medicals and lead to a complete contract.

Would PSG lift the Champions League this season after adding to their squad men who have lifted the title?

How would the experience of Wijnaldum and Sergio contribute to the overall performance of the team? We hope to find out soon.
