US court orders the arrest of Abba Kyari

A US court has directed the Federal Bureau of Investigation, F.B.I, to arrest Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.

A United States court issued a warrant of arrest for him over his association with the infamous internet fraudster Ramon Abbas, aka Hushpuppi.

Ramon Abbas recently pleaded guilty before a US court. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, F.B.I alleged that Abbas, Kyari, and some of his other friends conspired to engage in defrauding.

During Abbas' interrogation, he confessed that he bribed Abba Kyari to arrest and jail a fellow fraudster, Kelly Chibuzor Vincent after they both disagreed on sharing the $1.1milion stolen from a Qatari businessman.

Ramon Abbas, who has pleaded guilty, will face no less than 20 years of jail time. He will also lose his assets, and no room for appeal will be granted to him. He will also be paying restitution to those who have fallen victim to his fraud activities.

Initially, the American prosecutors of Abbas had asked the court for an arrest warrant on February 12, 2021, which did not succeed. They also sought an arrest warrant on April 29, 2021.

On July 29, 2021, Otis Wright of the US District Court for the Central District of California issued an arrest warrant for Abba Kyari. The court told the  FBI to arrest and produce him before the United States' court.
