An intimate tape of Tiwa Savage and her current lover has found its way online, ten days after the African superstar revealed in an interview with Angie Martinez of Power 105.1 FM that she was being blackmailed. The 10-second clip, which is too explicit to be published, was seen by HotNaija. With a reverse image search, HotNaija verified that the person in the video is indeed Tiwa Savage.

The 41-year-old Nigerian artist, via her Instagram stories, said she was "able to control the narrative and get ahead of a story before it consumed me" by revealing that her sex tape was in the wrong hands. However, while performing in Lagos during the weekend, she told her fans that the video would never be leaked. Turns out, the opposite of that happened.

The latest development has put Savage in the spotlight again, with many Nigerians suggesting that she is only creating a publicity stunt.
