The Chairman of Cubana Group, Obinna Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana, has thrown his weight around Cross Ike, one of the BBNaija 2021 'Shine Ya Eye' housemates.
The show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, announced the male housemates -- Pere, Niyi, WhiteMoney, Sammie, Bona, Emmanuel, JayPaul, Cross, Yousef, and Saga -- on Saturday, while the second set of housemates -- all ladies -- were announced during the opening ceremony on Sunday.

Socialite Obi Cubana, who stole the spotlight on Nigerian social media during his mother's burial, said Cross was from Oba, Anambra, and therefore has his support.
This comes as no surprise as the billionaire is famous for his undying support for Oba youths. He recently promised to empower 300 Oba youths with 1 million Naira each during the Thanksgiving service of his mother's funeral.
He even boasted of having raised billionaires among Oba youths and sponsored many across the country.
Whether or not his support for Cross will boost the contestant's chance of winning will become evident in the coming weeks.
Obi Iyiegbu is famous for owning multi-million companies like Cubana Hotels, Cubana Land & Properties, etc.
