Tiwa Savage has lost her father, barely a month after her close friend, Obama DMW, died. Gistlover, a blogger, reported that the singer's dad passed on in the early hours of Monday. Tiwa Savage confirmed the development in a statement on Instagram, saying her father made "a peaceful transition".
"You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy, it’s been rough for you this past couple [of] years but you are resting now. This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak. Rest In Perfect Peace my King", her statement read.
The 41-year-old musician, alongside Davido, visited the graveyard of Obama, whom she was rumoured to be dating, on Wednesday, July 14th, after penning down an emotional message to him.
