If media reports are anything to go by, then Evelyn, the wife of late TB Joshua, is set to become the next general overseer of the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN). Because the church no longer has a leader, there have been so many questions left unanswered. As soon as his death was confirmed by the Synagogue Church, thousands of people, most of whom are his followers, flocked to his church the following morning. However, according to Sahara Reporters' journalists at the scene, everyone who tried to enter the building was denied access. Hundreds of them were sick people who wanted to get healed even though the cleric was no more. "It is because of him I'm alive," one woman wailed. Tanzanian news outlet "The Citizen" quoted a top aide saying that "none of the [SCOAN] pastors was trained to succeed him", suggesting that Joshua's wife would take over.
